Greetings and thank you for stopping by! Krissy here, co-founder of The Verdant Table here to introduce a little more about the concept and what we offer. Human connection, values-based living and our impact on ecology will always be at the forefront of how we conduct our work.

We didn’t create The Verdant Table because the world needed another wellness brand. We created it because too many good ideas and good people get lost in bad systems.

We’ve lived the questions — from standing in food bank lines and farming through burnout, to navigating the red tape of small business ownership, grant deadlines, broken tools, and broken trust. We’ve also experienced the joy: of shared meals, of growing food with our own hands, of watching something we’ve built take root in a community.

That’s what The Verdant Table is about. Helping real people — like you — grow resilient businesses, programs, and lives rooted in values that last.

Our Roots

The Verdant Table is the culmination of 20 years of lived experience in food systems, farming, nonprofit operations, hospitality, community care, and sustainable wellness. Founded by my husband and I — Austin and Krissy — this work grew from the soil of our own lives. We’ve worked with our hands in the dirt, built programs from scratch, cooked for hundreds, managed grants and people and spreadsheets, and done the unglamorous backend work that keeps communities thriving.

This is systems thinking with soul. It’s also our quiet rebellion: against the myth that you have to hustle, scale, or sacrifice your values to succeed.

What We Believe

  • Nourishment is more than food

  • Systems should serve people — not the other way around

  • Beauty, rest, and clarity are not luxuries

  • Community care is real strategy

  • There’s no such thing as too small to matter
